Plugin abandoned?

Hi - I've noticed that there haven't been any responses on Q&A since June 2025, and no responses on issues or bugs since around October 2025. I'm wondering if this is still in active development. TG has amazing features but also a lot of bugs. If the dev is no longer able to maintain it, I don't want to spend the time trying to make it work.

Hi, i feel you, and I saw we had the same problems in auto-detecting projects. I liked the features and the layout, but there is also 'feature creep', and I gave up on it. It's very difficult to use a task or todo system one can't trust.
So I went back to Tasks, and maybe i'lll vibecode an obsidian frontend, or I wait for https://taskforge.md/ on linux/windows.

I've been using Tasknotes pretty successfully. At first I didn't like the idea of having tasks as individual notes, but it lets you create them inline with the regular tasks plugin and then convert them so they still show up in the original note. Since they're notes, you can create views with bases and the plugin provides some very useful bases view formats. It's working out pretty well.
I really liked the views that Task Genius has but it's just too buggy.
