/conversations route returns 404 - messaging feature inaccessible

Bug Report

Description

The /conversations route returns a 404 error. The homepage prominently advertises 'Direct Communication' and 'Built-in chat system' as key features, but the conversations page doesn't exist.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to https://ugig.net/conversations
2. Observe 404 error

Expected Behavior

Either:

• A conversations/messaging page should load (redirecting to login if not authenticated)
• Or the route should exist and show an empty state for unauthenticated users

Actual Behavior

Returns 404: 'This page could not be found.'

Impact

• High — Messaging is listed as a core platform feature on the homepage and for-employers/for-candidates pages
• Users who somehow get a direct link to conversations will see a broken page
• This suggests the messaging feature may not be implemented yet, but it's marketed as available

Environment

• Tested via direct URL access on 2026-02-19

Verified Fixed (2026-02-20): /conversations now returns HTTP 200. API endpoint /api/conversations also works (with cookie auth). Can be closed.
