Passwords should be handled securely

I noticed that when the app prompts for a password, that password isn't masked on the screen as i type it; it's displayed as plain text. In fact, it stays on the screen - visible to anyone looking over my shoulder - until the connection either succeeds or fails.

I then noticed that when you put the password in the connection configuration, it's displayed in plain text there, too.

Passwords should not be displayed to the screen in plain text.
